Modification of Conditions approved for the revised plan

We are thankful to report that on September 1, 2026 the City of Virginia Beach approved our Modification of Conditions to the existing Conditional Use Permit (Religious Use) for the property at 5263 Greenwich Road.

When the original Conditional Use Permit was granted in October 2025, it was tied to the earlier three-story concept. Because we redesigned the building to a single story — avoiding the elevator and dual fire-rated staircases and saving an estimated $500,000 — the revised plan had to return to the city as a Modification of Conditions rather than a new permit application.

With that approval in hand, the conditions of record now match the plan our contractor and civil engineer are detailing. Work continues on the construction documents and the site plan review cycle with the city.
