The Church in Virginia Beach · Virginia Beach, VA
A meeting hall for the Lord's testimony in Hampton Roads region
After meeting in homes for more than ten years, the church has more than doubled. The Lord has provided a 1.7-acres land on Kemps Lake to build our meeting hall. We are building a proper place for His growing and building of the church.
April 2026 update: redesign and contractor on board
We have redesigned the building to a single story (saving ~$500K), signed with a local contractor, and updated our finances. Earliest groundbreaking: Fall 2026. (Financial figures pending May 2026 update.)
We have outgrown the homes.
For nearly ten years the church in Virginia Beach has met in the homes of the saints. By the Lord's grace, we have more than doubled in the last five years. On the Lord's Day we now have 60 adults and 30 children meeting together beyond the capacity of any home.
In April 2025 a 1.7-acre parcel on Kemps Lake became available. We believe it is the Lord's provision for a meeting hall: central, accessible, and across the lake from the homes where the church has been meeting.
A hall for ~200 saints with a mezzanine
A large meeting room, children's meeting rooms, offices, fellowship rooms, and a cafeteria opening to a patio overlooking the lake.
