April 2026 update: redesign and contractor on board
We have redesigned the building to a single story (saving ~$500K), signed with a local contractor, and updated our finances. Earliest groundbreaking: Fall 2026. (Financial figures pending May 2026 update.)

City permit approved — design moves forward
In October the City of Virginia Beach approved our conditional use permit. We are now working with a local engineering firm on the design.

Land purchased on Greenwich Road
At the end of June, the church closed on a 1.7-acre parcel at 5263 Greenwich Road — central, accessible, and overlooking Kemps Lake.
